What to Know

Critics Consensus

Zookeeper smothers Kevin James's with a sodden script and a surfeit of jokes inappropriate for the young viewers who would be intrigued by its juvenile storyline.

Fans of the sight of James falling over will get a big kick out of Zookeeper, but this deranged comedy will leave everyone else scratching their heads. Go to Full Review

To produce something as emphatically unfunny as this, the script's five-man team must have whipped themselves into a state of mutual delusion. Go to Full Review

Harry S Jul 29, 2018 Entertaining and cute.
Apr 6, 2018 I am surprised no one mentions how misogynistic this movie is. My (teen) kids and I just walked out about halfway through, it was so bad. To begin with, it was easy to identify with the main character, but after he starts being abusive to the woman he's after, we started cringing. This behavior was so familiar it was painful to watch and Not Funny At All, just a bit more over the top than usual. And then when the two guys start getting into a sort of pissing match, leaving the girl on the side, we just left. Who needs to watch this shitty behavior when you get it all the time anyway?? My kids were horrified, and I was a little grossed out. All I can say is it must have gone seriously uphill if people liked it. Also?? What idiot could possibly miss how hot, intelligent, and nice his coworker is? If he got the girl in the end, he definitely didn't deserve it, because he didn't have more than three brain cells to rub together. See more

Albus S May 3, 2017 A pretty funny movie I like how Kevin James plays in this movie and the animals talk to him and help him then I all so like how Bernie it's the car when they are singing, so this is a good Comedy! See more
Harry W Mar 22, 2017 Geez, this movie was bad. A terrible, overused premise, and awful acting. The animals are not funny with their stupid stereotypes. See more
Hermione P Mar 3, 2017 Kevin James manages to laugh at him a little bit, as well as the situation of humor and talking animals that are going to help James in the role of character in their lives by giving advice. Humor is still not discharged properly, but one scene kaahaileva car gorilla to bring a little smile mouths. Talking animals might initially seem quite mischievous, but in the end are not in line with expectations, the animals know only the votes cast Sylvester Stallone, Adam Sandler and Maya Rudolph. A few humorous glimpse of this case can be seen, but otherwise the assembly will remain subdued. See more
