What to Know

Critics Consensus

Yogi Bear's 3D effects and all-star voice cast are cold comfort for its aggressively mediocre screenplay.

The new Yogi Bear is survivable. That's as far as I'll go. Go to Full Review

There are some watchable 3D sequences in a boat on the rapids and a makeshift airplane, but it's pretty grim for anyone over six. Go to Full Review

Poor old Yogi has a rough time of it in this miserable 3D assault of humour-free live action and lumpy animation. Go to Full Review

Lazily plotted and tiredly predictable, the film reminds me of one of that other Yogi's most famous phrases: "It's deja vu all over again." Go to Full Review

Kylo S Mar 24, 2019 I mean the plot is downright awful and plain simple but the comic turns are pretty neat for a kid's film. There's just some well timed stupid lines in there and unexpectedly I found myself laughing along to bits of this. Short, maybe mercifully so but that eases the task of watching and overall better than the usual stuff you'd get for this genre. Surprisingly enjoyed it. See more
Hermione R Feb 15, 2019 I don't understand the hate, Yogi Bear is a great film with huge laughs
George S Nov 20, 2018 Better than the average bear.
Hagrid S Nov 12, 2018 Will not appear to older audience's
Luke R Jun 27, 2017 A clichéd, poorly CGI'ed attempt at bringing a nostalgic 1960s cartoon to modern day, complete with jokes involving twerking. It ultimately feels like Dan Aykroyd owed someone money. See more
Abraham S May 2, 2017 This movie is retarded
