Global superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt team up for the action comedy Wolfs. Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two "lone wolves" are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected.

Critics Consensus

George Clooney and Brad Pitt's professional star power gives Wolfs zip even when it cycles through clichés of the fixer genre, making for a pleasing and slick throwback.

Clooney and Pitt are such deft, charismatic actors that, even in a lazy, low-key picture like this one, you get a lot of pleasure from their barbed asides and mocking silences. It’s clear why they’ve been stars for three decades.

You won’t be howling over Wolfs, a subpar megawattage buddy action-comedy with grumpy glamourpuss Hollywood hunks and a rudimentary sense of after-hours mischief.

There’s a metatextual commentary on the stars reaching sixty candles that made me enjoy [Clooney and Pitt's] playfulness even more.

An idea without any follow-through -- it’s like someone pitched a compelling tagline in a meeting and forgot to fill it out with any actual ideas after the fact. It’s big-budget filmmaking at its most vacant.
