An uncommon and deeply sensitive take on this type of story. Go to Full Review

The "Wildlike" landscapes are exhilarating, but when the film works, it's because of the interiors. Go to Full Review

Green explores an atypical relationship between a solitary, 50-something man who finds that a vulnerable but determined kid has attached herself to him, no matter what, as he sets off into the wild. Go to Full Review

Throw in two engaging performances from its leads‎ and it's a film worth talking about, especially considering how it's born out of a topic that so few do discuss. Go to Full Review

Wildlike is a strong film that takes its time building the story and exploring the outdoors as well as the protagonists' internal conflict and subsequent character development. Go to Full Review

Kylo P Sep 28, 2017 A beautiful movie with a powerful story that stays with you afterwards. The friendship between Mackenzie and Bartlett develops in a very atypical way. Just reading about, it how a troubled teenager befriends a older troubled father figure in the Alaskan wilderness, gives you the illusion that it is a traditional bonding story where each person's loneliness or emptiness is overcome by the power of friendship. It is nothing like that. For the majority of the movie, they don't seem to be friends at all, and not even like each other particularly much. Bartlett barely tolerates the presence of Mackenzie, and maybe not even then that. Until the end of movie, when their experience and a realization by Bartlett, and the fact that they are humans somewhat forces them to become friends. The bonding does not come from within, but is rather external, and makes for a very powerful conclusion to the movie. See more
Aug 26, 2017 Great Film, Amazing Cast and Crew with Visionary Directors and Producers. Capturing and giving life to Alaska as much as an equal character in a performance with a destination worth the journey. I am very beholding to Director Frank Hall Green See more
Finn W May 14, 2017 Slow slow slow. Ending was terrible.
Draco W Jan 6, 2017 The beautiful scenery and captivating wilderness of Alaska is the only pleasant aspect of this dull, slow paced drama. From the beginning, the protagonist McKenzie is unlikable and even obnoxious which makes it hard to sympathize with her situation even though she's a victim. There's also the lack of character development and the absence of a compelling storyline. Those problems ultimately lead to a disappointing and rather annoying two hours. See more
Ron W Dec 17, 2016 Sat down to watch this movie and had to shut it off halfway through. My attention was lost within the first 10 minutes. Not worth a moment of your time See more
Albus S Oct 26, 2016 Minimalist yet captivating story filmed in a spectacular setting.
