Luke W Jan 10, 2019 The most brilliantly acted movie I've watched in a while with boxxy software app. I am so happy to see Emma Roberts actually doing a real good role. And Julianne Nicholson portrays the worn down ex mom ex incarcerated ex drug addict in such an intense way that it's actually hard to watch. Despite the movie's slow pace I was exhausted after it was done. Although the plot in itself isn't the most intriguing, the realism of it makes it a worth while watch. See more

Ron R Nov 29, 2018 What's interesting is how Newton both undermines naive sentimentality about the world while simultaneously not indulging in cynicism which gives the movie a kind of hopeful realism. Julianne Nicholson should get more leading roles, this is one hell of a performance. See more

Harry G Jul 22, 2018 This is 100% chick flick. Men should run away. Please.

Jul 16, 2018 Several people die in the movie. In one case, someone goes to prison. IN another case, the system continues to function because it is right. seeing what is under the surface is a skill in itself, but being able to show it in such an authentic way takes talent. through this movie, people have a rare opportunity to connect the dots across societal classes and established societal norms. They can hopefully see a deeper truth about people that takes a lifetime to understand and then enormous courage and conviction to live. if you struggle to find empathy for beth, you have not lived long enough.
