Dallas Jenkins, creator of The Chosen, proudly reintroduces his heartfelt family film What If.... Still popular after its release 15 years ago, this faith-filled classic was inspired by Dallas Jenkins's favorite film, It's a Wonderful Life and follows Ben Walker (Kevin Sorbo), a businessman who abandoned his faith. One day, Ben wakes up living the life he was destined for -- married to his college sweetheart (Kristy Swanson) and serving as a small-town pastor. Featuring memorable performances by John Ratzenberger and Debby Ryan, the film blends humor, heart, and powerful family themes. To mark its 15th anniversary, Jenkins reunites with Sorbo, Swanson, Ratzenberger, and producer Michael Scott to reflect on its lasting impact in a special feature shown after the film. Don't miss this opportunity to experience What If's inspiring message on the big screen, inviting audiences to reflect on their own "what if" moments and find hope through faith.

Predictable faith-based movie is heavy-handed and trite.

A mash-up of 'It's a Wonderful Life' and the story of Saul's encounter with the heavenly light of Jesus on the road to Damascus, except in this case replace Saul with Kevin 'Hercules' Sorbo and the heavenly light of Jesus with John Ratzenberger.

A much more faith based remake of Brett Ratner's "The Family Man."

the same opening, final scene, and a lot in between as "The Family Man". definitely a direct rip off, just with more of a Christian slant. all that said, I still enjoyed this film. kevin sorbo is an underrated actor. He is solid and, overall, I found this flick to be poignant and intriguing. It's not overly preachy either. This is actually a very good watch. it's warm with a lot of heart.

A better and non-religious (better again) version of this movie was made 10 years before it so why bother they make it again? I enjoyed it but it felt it was from the '80's and Nicolas Cage version sets the bar really high.

Once again, I'm glad to say, Rotten Tomatoes rates it poor, so I watch it and love every minute of it. A great movie so far as I am concerned.
