Apr 9, 2019 I went to see Tucked not expecting it to touch me in the way that it genuinely did. This film is a truly enjoyable watch... it makes you laugh, it makes you cry, and it makes you think. Without us noticing it deals with many issues, from sexuality and homelessness to cross generational friendships and family fallout, plus of course the bigger matter of death... or rather living knowing death is extremely near. All this is brought to us through a very real and gritty story line without being in any way twee or sentimental. Everyone that I went with came out feeling they had been invigorated by this film. I feel those 2 characters will stay with me for a long time and that for me is a sign of a winning film. Actually I would like to see it again to spend more time with them!! See more
