Robert Abele Los Angeles Times Oct 12, 2017
What's cringe-worthy about "Trafficked," directed by Will Wallace, is how unnecessarily eroticized it is, like something from the made-for-video bin in a '90s-era Blockbuster. Go to Full Review

Unfortunately, for all its social relevance and good intentions, Trafficked mainly proves that university professors don't make the best screenwriters. Go to Full Review

Trafficked ... manages to illustrate the sexual, physical and mental abuse that human traffickers inflict on victims to make them feel less than human. Go to Full Review

It's a rough watch in parts as things are shown and suggested that should shock and appall everyone. It's a powerful film and should be seen. Go to Full Review

Tackling a serious subject but looking like a bad after-school special, this drama is terribly forced and indelicate; it tries to deliver an important message but feels more like a cheap thriller. Go to Full Review

The kind of movie that preaches to the converted, and as such it's hard to figure out how much good it's doing. Go to Full Review

Hermione S Feb 3, 2019 The topic of human trafficking is a horribly disturbing one. So why did this movie feel almost silly instead of serious? In the first parts of the movie, a woman has acid dumped on her face, another has her virginity sold, and a group of young woman are sold by someone they trusted to traffickers. Itâ(TM)s awful stuff, but it always felt very clichà (C) and more like a TV movie than a theatrical one⦠As in, this is what bad guys do and say, and this is how vulnerable yet tough women find their resilience by carrying around stuffed animals and bonding with each other in between rapesâ¦. For a movie in a similar vein, I recommend the mini-series Human Trafficking with Mira Sorvino. That actually WAS made for TV, but itâ(TM)s superior to this movie. See more
Theodore S May 15, 2018 Probably underrated. This, a fairly decent story of how three women survived sex trafficking and their experience at a "ranch" in Texas. See more
Hermione G Apr 25, 2018 This movie was great! I cried and was glued to my seat during the whole run time. I recommend highly. This movie is a "Got to See." See more

Jan 15, 2018 ashley judd is Horrible
Jan 13, 2018 As a trainer on the subject of sex trafficking, I loved that part of the element of this movie was to show that every victim's circumstance and background is different. This movie was highly educational to those who know nothing about sex/human trafficking, and great, also for those of us who are surrounded by this subject on a daily basis. Ashley Judd is definitely a huge advocate against human trafficking, and I know that others who were in the movie have become so, as well. We all have a role to play in the fight. This movie captures the insanity, the fear, the horrendous reality that is human trafficking, and was well done. See more
