Stephen Holden New York Times Nov 2, 2001
If the take-no-prisoners humor of Citizen Toxie is very funny, the movie's relentless comic excess is ultimately a little exhausting. Go to Full Review

Laughs are few and far between, and the film feels brutally long. Go to Full Review

George W Aug 9, 2018 Better-than-average Troma offering goes on a little too long but film buffs will appreciate several references to CITIZEN KANE. See more
Albus P Mar 28, 2017 "Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger 4" is a lower quality, more excessively absurd, but arguably more entertaining film than the first. The tongue-in-cheek social commentary, the non-stop offensiveness, and the ridiculous amount of violence all provided some very funny moments, but the movie drags on too long, with too many lengthy and questionable scenes overall.
