This film undoubtedly was the creation of a marketing guy who thought Tom and Jerry might become more marketable if kids heard them talk and work together. Go to Full Review
Joseph McBride Variety Jul 6, 2010
Though slickly animated, this first full-length pic featuring the vintage cat and mouse characters is misconceived from start to finish, full of gooey sentimentality and relegating Tom and Jerry to supporting characters in a banal melodramatic plot. Go to Full Review
Geoff Andrew Time Out Jun 24, 2006
A severely dull animated feature. Go to Full Review

This clumsy bomb is unlikely to launch these new friends on a series of further comic misadventures. Go to Full Review

Anakin S Apr 13, 2019 This movie gives bad advises to buildings that are good because in this Movie The house got destroyed when it is not supposed to get demolished. And this movie is trash and needs to get replaced by new modern stuff like Crayola Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons and Corduroy The Bear with two buttons on his green corduroy overalls and new modern 1997 boxes of Crayola Crayons and more important goods. So lets get modernized. This movie MUST BE BANNED. And it will be better for the economy for stores to get rid of this movie. The old Theatrical shorts are way better than this movie. This is the WROST Tom and Jerry cartoon in the planet. I am not sad that this movie is going away. Good bye Tom and Jerry The Movie and hello Crayola Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons. In real life wrecking balls are only used for tearing down high rises only if they are older than 50 years old and in a very bad condition. See more
Dec 6, 2018 Despite lots of reviewers say it's gross, I must admit it's not that bad. It reminds me of my childhood. Above all... 4 stars just for Henry Mancini themes. See more
Kylo L Nov 15, 2018 Stop Singing! The movie itself was meh, but the songs were horrible and really cringy.
Draco M Jul 22, 2018 Wonderful! I love how they tried something new with Tom & Jerry speaking. This Movie is very underrated & needs more credit. The voices are spot on as well! See more
Poe L Oct 2, 2017 I really liked this movie. I've enjoyed Tom and Jerry since I was a kid. It also has a cool song called Friends To The End. I also like when both Tom and Jerry find out they can talk when they meet Puggsy and Frankie. I would give this movie 9 stars out of 10. See more
Leia G Aug 24, 2017 The Movie was alright. Story was a bit predictable. For some reason I loved the voice of Tom. And for Tom and Jerry it actually didn't have that much Slapstick comedy. The animation is great if it had a good story than would have rated higher. See more
