What to Know

Critics Consensus

Great visuals, but the story feels like a cut-and-paste job of other sci-fi movies.

Apr 28, 2019 This movie is great.
Hagrid L Apr 6, 2019 The animation is excellent, but the story and characters can't pull me through through its familiar frontier. Still again I recommend you check it out for the stunning animation blending computers and hand-drawn rather splendidly. See more
Feb 10, 2019 It's a film that has always captivated my imagination.
Finn R Jan 4, 2019 Great film, a joy to watch. Classic space opera story with a grand vista and interesting characters.
Hermione R Jan 2, 2019 A divisive film to be sure, Titan A.E. is a film that is greater than the sum of its parts. The animation is beautiful, and dripping Don Bluth's signature style, but it's also occasionally choppy, and the CGI elements can be jarring for some viewers. The plot is great, but full of tropes. The soundtrack, while loved by fans, shows its age. The highlight of the movie is definitely the characters and environments, which are lovingly crafted and extremely endearing, and feed into what made this something of a cult hit. Because, while Titan A.E. is certainly a flawed film, it also creates a theme and a feeling that echoes the universe it crafts, one where humans are unimportant and unwelcome. It's a movie that is gritty and violent and alien, and with all its tropes and imperfections, it is a uniquely delicious blend for those with the right tastes. See more
Leia R Dec 13, 2018 This movie is quite honestly an underrated animation classic. It in a way reminds me of thr transfromers the movie from 1986 in the way that its a product of its decade that every animation fan should see but not all will. This is a movie with an interesting but extremely fast moving plot. The only thing i cam really say is go exprience it for yourself with an open mind. See more
