Finn G Jun 30, 2018 enjoyed this one with my boys who still love to watch the series so hope they keep making more for them

Han W Nov 28, 2017 Hey, reviewers! I haven't watched this special in ages, but I just wanted to share with you that when I first saw this on YouTube, I thought it was good, but not great. I can see why it had been considered a disappoint to all Thomas fans, and I can understand that. I'm a big Jim Howick fan, and I like Hugh Bonneville, because I saw him in the Paddington films. The songs are a bit longer than The Great Race, but that doesn't mean I don't like them. I'm just glad that they didn't release this when I was a kid, because I used to get scared of watching cartoon musicals. So to end this, although I haven't watched this special in ages, I just want to say that it is good, but I think The Great Race is better. Should have just called this 'Thomas & Friends: Journey Beyond Sodor: The Musical'. See more

Rey L Oct 28, 2017 This is slightly good but I am rating 3 and a half out of 5.

Poe R Oct 23, 2017 Our third annual trip to the cinema to see the latest Thomas release means a lot of excitement in our train obsessed household. My soon to be 5 year old is probably at the very top end of who this film is being aimed at, this is really for the pre-schoolers. Some reviews have said this is too scary but I really didn't think so and none of the children at the screening seemed unduly bothered. This is a more by the numbers offering than some of the previous films but the songs are better this time around and it's as always a fun 70min-ish offering. Thumbs up, we'll be back next year, if not with eldest son probably with the younger one! :) See more

Leia R Oct 16, 2017 WORST THOMAS AND FRIENDS MOVIE EVER!!!!!

Han L Oct 15, 2017 The movie may not have been a master piece like "The Adventure Begins" or "Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure", but not a big failure like "The Great Race" though. There are some flaws in this movie like the engines bouncing their bodies, Frankie's crying is very annoying, and that the ending is rushed, but I think it is OK. The story is really well done and more interesting, the concept about the Steelworks is really cool, and the new characters in this movie are really fun too. Merlin is my favorite of all and so are Frankie and Hurricane. Overall, the movie is good. Not the best, but not the worst. See more
