Given Halleck's influence in town and a general prejudice against Gypsies, he manages to brush the incident under the rug with some unethical legal help from his associates. What to Know

Critics Consensus

A bland, weightless horror film that seems to want to mock itself as the proceedings drag on.

Han R Apr 7, 2019 This wasn"t a bad movie by any means but could and should of been so much better.A 109 year old gypsy puts a curse on Robert John Burke's overweight character who begings to lose weight rapidly after he kills the Old man"s daughter.(An old lady herself) in an accident. The problem with the film is none of the characters are really likeable so it's hard to feel sorry for any of them.It runs for a measley 89 mins so just as the "war" between the gypsy clan and the white man from town begins it's over too quick.Another half hour might of helped the movie maybe. George R Mar 1, 2019 In the tradition of Pet Semetery, Carrie and Cujo, Stephen King makes a cameo and mark on this must watch film....check it out if you have not already, IT is a gypsy good time See more
Poe S Jan 28, 2019 Terrible movie with a silly plot.
Oct 21, 2018 An interesting story of a greasy lawyer that gets cursed for his dishonesty throughout the movie. Also comes with a sneaky ending. Great stuff. Book is better though. See more
Poe L Sep 12, 2017 Rather outdated now with its special effects and some over acting , however it's a nice chilled Sunday afternoon flick with some classic horror . Certainly doesn't take the genre seriously and plays out more like monty python than it does horror . See more
Abraham R Sep 10, 2017 This movie isn't perfect, but it is still a great adventure. The ending, the scares, the effects, and the actors are just perfect for their roles, making the movies much better then how it would be just by itself. a must see for King fans. See more
