What to Know

Critics Consensus

No need to tune into The Titan -- bland and uninspired, this sodden sci-fi romance re-hashes other stories of super-soldiers gone wrong.

Han W Apr 14, 2019 This was a recommended movie by a family member I like and trust. I was excited by the cast and the startof the movie/story line. It went no where fast disappointingly! It is beyond stupid and that is me being nice! What a waste of time and life. Im writing this review in desperate hope to save others valuable time. See more
Mar 18, 2019 Absolute garbage, don't waste your time.
Harry G Mar 2, 2019 A masterpiece in bad movie making, Lennart Ruff dives deep into nonsensical plot lines, terrible dialogue, and science? Where this movie really falls short is making sense. Humanity isn't going to make it another 10 years on Earth. We need to expand to the stars. We're going to alter humanity to be able to live on Titan. Ok, I'm with you so far. Unfortunately, we haven't really looked into the process and it seems to kill pretty much everyone but I'm sure it's still our best option. Alright.. well maybe we should have started with move or something? Nope, let's keep going till only one guy is alive then we'll launch him into space naked. Wait, what? Yeah, totally naked and he can fly.. well, more like glide... Sorta. How is this going to help anyone? What's the end game? What is this mute, naked, penisless Sam Worthington going to do on Titan that's going save humanity? I already said he can kind of glide. See more
Abraham S Feb 22, 2019 I was interested in this film because I'd seen it around and thought the premises interesting, however, I was disappointed in the slow going of the movie. No where near as good as the trailer made it out to be A very unfulfilling and disappointing ending, I really thought at the end " what was the point" See more
Hagrid L Feb 10, 2019 So the Earth is falling apart due to Nuclear disaster and we decide to modify humans to live on another planet that is even more uninhabitable than Earth is at the moment. Let alone this planet Titan is not beautiful nor does it resemble Earth at all. Nothing but swiss cheese rocks that look unpleasant and painful (who cares if he is modified for it. Disgusting atmosphere. Where will he find food? Who will he mate with? Why not just modify humans to live on the Earth that is changing. At least it will be familiar and our home still. I can't agree more with Ice M (fellow peer in this review page) when he says "Ive never been so drawn into a movie and so drastically let down that I make a rotten tomatoes account just to shit on the movie.". I say this because I did the same thing. I was so disappointed with this film that I decided to make an account here to review it. See more
Luke S Jan 19, 2019 The only thing that I enjoyed in this movie was the aerial camera work and the modern house. Nothing else about the movie was even remotely entertaining, poor story, poor script and awful acting. Sam Worthington doesn't have a lot of lines for a reason, he is awful and Agnes Deyn needs to stick with modelling. At the midway point of the movie, it somehow goes from bad to much, much worse, it was almost comedic... almost. See more
