In so many ways the film would be more interesting if it were more ambitious, but on its own terms it is surprisingly strong. Go to Full Review
Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times Jan 9, 2014
Uneven acting, some trite dialogue and several overplayed emotional beats flatten instead of round out the storytelling here. Go to Full Review
Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Apr 4, 2025

This faith-based thriller is low-key in an appealing way, which keeps it from being too preachy or overbearing; it's a simple, character-based tale that sticks close to its fact-based roots. Go to Full Review
Josh Terry Deseret News (Salt Lake City) Nov 30, 2017
The final result is suspenseful, faith-promoting and very entertaining. Go to Full Review
Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Jan 31, 2014

Bruce Bennett Spectrum (St. George, Utah) Oct 25, 2013
