This is foremost a study in team building and hockey tactics, and we get an abundance of ice time, much of it energizing to watch. Go to Full Review

The film weaves enough social, political and personal themes into its mix to make it interesting even for those who mainly think of "hockey puck" as a Don Rickles insult. Go to Full Review

Apr 13, 2019 I'm not a hockey fan but that's ok because this film is so much more than a hockey film. From the moment it begins you are totally engrossed in this film and your emotions go from disbelief what these players went through to come to Detroit, excitement watching them play on the ice, to exhilaration when they win the cup and devastation when tragedy hits. This film is an experience, not just a movie! See more
