Rooted thoroughly in its protagonist’s introspection, The Runner makes up for what it lacks in thriller pacing with an ambitious depth of fraughtness. Go to Full Review

Average film about teen's drug involvement made a little special by the performance of Cameron Douglas. Go to Full Review
Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Aug 24, 2022

Bursting with cheesy bravado, this thriller plays out with a straight face, or rather several overacting ones. Go to Full Review
Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Aug 21, 2022
Visually stylish, but often dull, vapid and undercooked. Edouard Philipponnat gives a charismatic performance, though. Go to Full Review
Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Aug 21, 2022
1/5
Surface-level, slick, and vacant, this drug-centric teen drama deals in spoiled, unlikable characters. As a result, it can't generate any suspense or emotions with its by-the-numbers drug-bust story. Go to Full Review
Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Aug 19, 2022
More familiar than fresh, this uneven coming-of-age drama feels more contrived than authentic in portraying the perils of the teenage drug trade. Go to Full Review
