Critics Consensus

The Rundown doesn't break any new ground, but it's a smart, funny buddy action picture with terrific comic chemistry between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Seann William Scott.

The Rock and Seann William Scott work up some nice comic chemistry, but it's the dependably warped Walken who steals the most scenes. The frenetically edited fight sequences will satisfy the blood lust of the target audience.

With charm, style and just a bit of winking intelligence, Johnson shows a magical ability to carry a picture from start to finish. If only the movie was worth the star's winning efforts.

A buddy-adventure where Johnson's Beck and Scott's Travis trade laughs and punches while dodging Walken's ruthless warlord in the Amazon.

The Rock and Scott play an unconventional buddy team that has a similar dynamic to Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin in Midnight Run, but without the acting ability or comic touch.

The Rundown‘s tolerable and periodically engaging atmosphere is due almost entirely to the charm of (and chemistry between) The Rock and Scott’s respective figures...

A very fun buddy action movie with a wonderful cast. Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Seann William Scott have great chemistry together and deserve to do another movie together. It was fun seeing The Rock get really annoyed with Seann's antics and watching the film it was like seeing a WWE wrestler getting annoyed with Stifler.

One of the best "Dwayne Johnson" movie. Funny

Action packed, clever, hilarious and the performances from Dwayne Johnson and Seann William Scott are what action-comedies are supposed to be made of, not to mention the ever scene stealing Christopher Walken.

Christopher Walken vs. The Rock.... well that almost says it all. For a action film with sprinkles of action and drama, The Rundown does a great job filling an hour a half with enough bounty hunting punches to satisfy fans of run-of-the-mill action flicks.

Not bad but could be better, the villian it's menacing but funny but it's not good if you enjoyed his death more than the rest you know that something is wrong, it's creative but not amasing, good to see in TV, but don't spend money in a dvd or Blu-ray
