Adam Nayman Globe and Mail Mar 28, 2014
2.5/4
This is a serious, austere film that feels as if it's barely restraining the B-movie within. In the end, it fights itself to a draw. Go to Full Review
Bruce DeMara Toronto Star Mar 27, 2014
Carballo also fails to capitalize on the climate of paranoia the script attempts to engender throughout. Go to Full Review
Susan Wloszczyna RogerEbert.com Feb 14, 2014
2.5/4
Carballo offsets the lack of surprise with such efficient suspense builders as propulsive music, ambient noise, realistic lighting and judicious handheld camerawork while efficiently explaining the science and politics behind what is happening. Go to Full Review
Jay Stone Canada.com Mar 28, 2014
2/5
Director Manuel Carballo seems to be trying for the psychological unease of Blindness, or perhaps of something by Cronenberg, but it's never more than artificial terror wrapped in bland social commentary. Go to Full Review
MaryAnn Johanson Flick Filosopher Feb 19, 2014
Cuttingly sharp and incisive SF horror; a chillingly polite film about the fascism that rises quickly up in a moment of fearful crisis. Go to Full Review

A zombie movie in which the normal people are to be feared. Modest in scope, but very effective. Go to Full Review

Theodore M Aug 14, 2018 Better than most zombie movies. Interesting concept - the zombies portrayed as the victims - the way it would be if zombies existed in real life. See more
Poe S May 21, 2018 Could of used a bit more gore and undead but this had an awesome twist & view on the "zombie apocalypse"! I wouldn't mind part 2 (same crew) I wanna see her get much deserved revenge! See more
Albus M Aug 7, 2017 Provocative Zombie Apocalypse With A Hard Emotional Edge, Which For Whatever Reason Doesn't Quite Go The Distance In The 'Care About The Characters' Department. For This Reason When People Are Fighting To Survive The Crazy World, & It's All Going Disastrously Wrong, It Gets A Bit Boring, Cos The Care Factor Wanes Away Rather Than Waxing Into The Crescendo That Was Probably Aimed For But Sorely Missed. Harry G May 9, 2017 Nice twist ending in this movie about a world plagued by zombies where scientists race to develop an antidote.
Albus P Jan 17, 2017 really poor zombie film. a young doctor goes on the run with medication that will treat her bitten boyfriend
