Although not one of the studio's classics, it has warmth, humor and delightful characterization. Go to Full Review

The Rescuers is a film often forgotten, and it is easy to see why. While the film might not be a total disaster, it simply is bland and sadly wastes some genuine talent from both the animators and the performers. Go to Full Review

Feb 2, 2019 The best animated movie ever made!
Oct 4, 2018 Beautiful Disney animation, and one of their most unrated masterpieces, may not be like the usual movies of the era, but overall a story that will enchant you and make your cry ?? See more
Leia P Aug 6, 2018 When you out "pretty good" and "really boring" inside a blender and blended them together, "The Rescuers" is the end product. I hoped that this would as fun or as entertaining as another old Disney animated film, "The Great Mouse Detective." Sadly, I did not get what I hoped for. THE PRETTY GOOD STUFF - 1.) The film can be very entertaining at times. 2.) Some jokes were pretty funny. 3.) The idea that an association of mice helps people. THE REALLY BORING STUFF - 1.) The animation's pretty outdated. 2.) The lack of chemistry between Bernard and Bianca. 3.) A lot of the moments in acts 1-3 were very BORING! The greatest sin of a movie, for me, is to bore me for most of its runtime. See more
Abraham S May 23, 2018 Although not very well known, it is one of the best classics of Walt Disney Pictures. Although the story is a bit unrealistic, and sometimes boring, it's even a good movie. I recommend See more
Anakin R Feb 1, 2018 Picking a wonderful children's story, and spicing it up with fun animation and some lovable characters (including the kidnapped girl who has a surprising development), this is a hugely recommendable piece of Disney animation from the middle of the company's decades-long rut.
