Its physical form is in cinemas; its soul is already circling the 24-hour garage bargain bin. Go to Full Review

Like Paranormal Activity at a wedding - Paranuptial Activity? - this low-budget horror has its moments. Much, much better than Legion, although not as scary as the actual Book of Revelation. Go to Full Review
Joe Leydon Variety Sep 18, 2014
A theologically questionable but fitfully exciting melodrama about fear and loathing among the non-Raptured. Go to Full Review

A piece of religious propaganda lacking scares or substance. Go to Full Review

Some will balk at the idea of a faith based horror film, however The Remaining successfully manages to walk the fine line between bloody-minded entertainment and religious discourse. Go to Full Review

Nimbly directed by Casey La Scala, and performed with engaging conviction, this Book of Revelations faith-based shocker is surprisingly effective. Go to Full Review

Poe P Jan 22, 2019 Lacklustre and illogical doomsday yarn is especially annoying by abusing Biblical motives to explain its content.
Dec 22, 2018 Truly a movie for everyone to watch. Starts out unassumingly, but turns into an eye opening revelation; pun intended. Makes one want to learn more about the truth. Good movie for all, with a plot that is relevant to everyone. Acting is not bad, and the action/thriller scenes are done very well for those who like action. Poignant ending. See more
Anakin P Sep 20, 2018 I'm almost disgusted at this film and the way god chooses people to bring to heaven in this movie. i mean "im a good person im just not a churchy good person"........ i mean seriously? how could anyone direct a movie like this and not go like "hol up, that aint right." anyway, this is a christian horror movie that is supposed to follow the morals of the bible so i guess thats what it is. its actually decent considering that. the bible is hard to make something rational out of and the director did a decent job. futhermore some of the acting on this is AMAZING (yes im talking about Bryan as expected) but some performances where not as good. i remember theres a point in the movie where Dan (played by Bryan) goes out to get his wife some meds and almost getting killed as a result and when he gets back, Bryan really really looks terrified while the nurse just......... nods. i burst out laughing. Anakin S Jun 10, 2017 We believe in God, rapture is far worse than the film depicts.
Luke M Dec 8, 2015 A church movie with okay acting, story, and effects.
Ron L Nov 22, 2015 Surprisingly enough, a christian film that doesn't really preach, but focus on entertainment values, and doesn't want to make you swallow its message. See more
