It all looks a bit rough and ready sometimes, but it is performed with resounding theatrical panache. Go to Full Review

A number of decent performances and a gritty realistic view of London makes this little sci-fi spin-off still worth a look. Go to Full Review

The lead characters are a little stodgy and Donlevy is about as far away from the modern idea of a film hero as it’s possible to get, but this is still a gritty, surprisingly creepy and graphic story. Go to Full Review

Leia R Jul 14, 2018 Classic Quatermass sci-fi/horror flick. Sure, the monster is quite litterally a load of tripe, but it is still creepy and effective. Well worth catching. See more

Harry W Dec 17, 2017 The Quatermass Xperiment is a solid, but very flawed sci-fi horror flick. As a horror film, it succeeds. The atmosphere is creepy, the film is so well shot in interesting documentary-like fashion and the score is particularly menacing. A couple of scenes are quite horrific for its time. But it fails as a science fiction tale as the tone is odd, the story is somewhat standard and the dialogue is frequently quite silly. See more
