We learn nothing much about the family members except that outsmarting dogs doesn't seem to be their forte. Also not a forte of anyone involved in this project: originality in picking a name.

I liked it. The acting was not bad and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I had seen it before, and was still nervous as it relates to the attacks. I would recommend this movie.

Although the first 20 minutes of this film is fairly slow, once it gets going it will scare the crap out of you. It's well acted by a cast of unknown Australian actors, well, unknown to me, and the director does a great job of building up the suspense and tension and the many jump scares really work well. It also has some great cinematography in some of the opening scenes. However, if you're a dog or animal lover, this one's not for you.

It's nearly impossible to find any redeeming quality in this ridiculous movie that never manages to be tense and is centered on a family of complete idiots (who we couldn't give a damn about) as they get surrounded by a pack of dogs that are far more intelligent than they are.
