"The Gracefield Incident" sports some impressive special effects in key scenes, but remains yet another found-footage thriller where the dialogue feels phony, the nonscary action is tedious and the images are artless. Go to Full Review

[A] feeble, somewhat amateurish if enthusiastic retread. Go to Full Review

What's frustrating about The Gracefield Incident is that it's not just a bad movie, but it offers a glimpse at the sort of ingenuity that would have elevated the film above its tired subgenre. Go to Full Review

We're left with a film that, besides the hook, lacks a lot of originality. It all adds up to an experience that's not liable to leave a huge impression after it's over. Go to Full Review

It's a bit goofy at times... but overall The Gracefield Incident is a smart, well-made and surprisingly scary little sci-fi thriller with a huge amount of heart and an interesting twist on a well-worn concept at its core. Go to Full Review

Poe M Mar 24, 2019 2 and a half possibly. If your looking for a more modern found footage horror/general found footage film to restore your faith in the genre this isn't it. It is eye popping and has great visuals at times. See more
Theodore M May 28, 2018 Parts Of It Were Perfectly Timed In Terms Of Achieving A Scare-Jump Reaction. I Personally Found It A Reasonable Good Mix Of Sci-Fi & Story. It Had Clearly A Low-Budget, So A Need Was Required To Get Clever With The Suspence; Channeling The Blair Witch Project Camera Work, It Does Effectively Freak You At Times..It's A Great Idea, But Very Hard To Do Well, Even With A Big Budget (Such As Cloverfield) ..But All In All, I Felt This Did Okay. Doesn't Go Overly Long Either, Which Also Helps. See more
Abraham M Feb 12, 2018 Another sci-fi movie with aliens where mankind is represented by its most stupid individuals.
Hermione M Jan 24, 2018 acting is atrocious and dialogue is abysmal. some of the worst i've ever seen of both. started out well, intriguing and creepy with some good scares. then it nose-dives. so many of the scares were so weak, nothing shown on the screen, just some loud noises you hear and the characters run, super lame. the arguing between the characters was ridiculously annoying. lots of questionable decision making. and a ton of plot holes and things that make no sense. (1 viewing) SPOILERS they're filling balloons that float as they walk through the forest, but they don't have a helium tank. dude is recording with a camera from a smart phone that he put in his fake eye, but it somehow records sound. bad continuity errors like, they show the view of one person's camera, then when they switch to the other person's camera the first person isn't holding a camera. the aliens looked pretty cool, and some of the stuff with them at the very end were the only cool/scary/creepy parts. and the meteorite turning out to be an egg with a baby alien in it was pretty cool. Poe W Jan 7, 2018 The acting is distractingly bad. The idea is too mundane and overdone to be creative. The painfully bland dialogue only makes this movie feel even longer. The moronic attempts to justify recording, are simply insulting. This had no reason to be found footage, and may have been slightly better if shot in a more traditional style. Instead, you spend the entire movie focusing on the fact that we're supposed to believe a minuscule camera, powered by a watch battery, and placed in a prosthetic eye, gets perfect quality sound and imagery. Camera placements are far too convenient, and often inconsistent. When people say they hate found footage movies, it's because of garbage like this. See more
Kylo G Nov 23, 2017 One of the dumbest, nonsense, forgettable movie i have ever seen.
