Naila Scargill Exquisite Terror Feb 28, 2019
Delivers a number of tired tropes amidst a bland screenplay that largely consists of tedious, drawn-out padding. Go to Full Review

There are definitely some worthwhile ideas and components here. They're just trapped in a film that can't afford them. Go to Full Review
Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Oct 3, 2012
C-
Bousman doesn't have the vision to hoist the horror up high, settling on a mundane camping thriller only sporadically enlivened by mysterious violence. Go to Full Review

Rey W Mar 14, 2019 An (at least fractionally) complex horror story based on a cryptid I'm familiar with, but have never seen put to screen before. Cast's not great ,but not worth complaining about either. The central creep is held in reserve, almost certainly for monetary reasons, but it works in The Barrens' favour. I won't be revisiting this Jersey Devil horror, but I did have an okay time with it. See more
Jul 13, 2017 Please, someone, make a more realistic disemboweled deer-like animal for movie consumption! This "film" has some of the least animal looking animals I've ever seen (well, since third grade art class, anyway.) They do try not to show them, by obscuring with tree limbs etc.but once seen, they cannot be unseen, and that somewhat ruins all that comes afterward.(for me.) ?????? See more
Finn W Feb 5, 2017 Boring rehash of the Shining.
Abraham R Aug 23, 2012 A surprisngly good horror movie with Stephen Moyer's giving a fantasic performance as an unhinged father.
