The writer-director Todd Berger parades his stylistic chops with his self-satisfied, vrit-ish comedy "The Scenesters," a tepid show-business satire. Go to Full Review

Audiences will shrug at the mystery's solution but likely will be eager to see what Berger & Co. do next. Go to Full Review

This jumbled satirical mystery is too pleased with itself for its own good. Go to Full Review

Likely to be rejected as a labored, smug, and ultimately inert neo-noir crime comedy, a movie far too wrapped in its own cleverness to engage the viewer with anything above rampaging self-awareness. Go to Full Review
Brent Simon Shared Darkness Aug 25, 2010
