It's almost funny, or theoretically funny. It's just not actually funny. Go to Full Review

From a bunch of minor Judd Apatow protégés, a dispiriting low-budget series of witless, misogynistic sketches masquerading as comedy. Go to Full Review

Shot on video, more vérité than mockumentary in style, Foot Fist shames bigger-budgeted fare with its gags-to-bucks ratio. Go to Full Review

The Foot Fist Way has a chance at real cult comedy status. But I would also say that it isn't as incredibly unique as I would have hoped. But as I found myself laughing at the absurdity and the story, I realized I was really engaged by McBride... Go to Full Review

Being a filmmaker myself, I have an affection for directors who gather all the money they can and just go for it. But the humor is not consistent enough for me to fully recommend this. Go to Full Review

Harry W Jul 27, 2018 Ive watched this movie 7 times now. I think its Danny Mcbrides best performace so far. Its a story I have seen echoed through the various Martial Arts schools Ive been too, with one extra ingredient. Comedy!! This film is funny. I love the writing by the 3 main actors. They should be proud. Jody Hill does a nice job directing as well. I really like the soundtrack by Pyramid as well. Dog wild in heaven rocks. This movie might not appeal to people who take themselves too seriously though. For example the dark critics on this site (as you can see by their reviews). Personally,I think they may not have been born with the humor gene. If you love a good roast, then check this one out!! Well done guys!. See more
Ron W Feb 21, 2018 The first act of this movie is phenomenal but everything else went down from their. Danny McBride is hilarious as always and his sidekick little Latino kid is great. Everybody else was ok. In the end it's a mediocre movie. I still want an eastbound and down movie. See more
George W Apr 28, 2017 Your mom won't like this but I thought it was very funny!
Anakin R Jun 4, 2008 I LOL'ed. I love Danny McBride's humor, though.
