Han L Apr 6, 2019 I really enjoyed this drama carefully constructed by Sian Heder. I felt as though I completely connected with Ellen Page's character as she is so free spirited and speaks her mind. She is also very independent and wild at heart and I love that! The movie holistically had a really nice vibe to it even though the situations got kinda hairy towards the end. But I definitely feel my time was spent well watching this (2hr) movie. The story was slow paced but not in a boring, dragging my feet in the dirt kind of way. It had lots of nice humorous lines and kept me entertained as the plot unfolded. Another feel good movie with a brilliant cast. See more

Theodore W Mar 6, 2019 A well focused Ellen Page plays a melodramatic young vagabond abandoned in an old van by her like-minded boyfriend whose mother, Allison Janney, takes pity on her when she shows up unannounced at her apartment with someone else's baby. Believing the baby to be her son's child, she decides to take care of them, forming an unlikely bond with a quirky Tallulah. Proving, yet again, that they are a believable pairing (i.e. Juno), there is a certain chemistry coating their staid performances to offer us an enjoyable drama with dedicated characters and positive resolve.
