Prolific cult filmmaker Sion Sono has freely adapted the world of Yusuke Yamada's 2004 novel 'Riaru Onigokko' to expose the trappings of patriarchy. Go to Full Review

Tag is bananas and awesome and completely deranged. But for all the fun and chaos and over-the-top gore, there are intriguing thematic currents that make it more interesting than just another bloody romp. Go to Full Review

I was thoroughly entertained by Tag and its hyperactive, hyper-violent story. Go to Full Review

Sono drifted far away from the book, instead shooting a surrealistic "Alice in Wonderland" film of sorts, which is filled though, with many of his usual perverse themes and notions. Go to Full Review

I had to admit that I was rooting for Mitsuko and Aki all along. That + fountains and fountains AND fountains of blood is really what makes Tag worth seeing. Go to Full Review

Kylo R Mar 31, 2019 That was a rushed unexplained, terrible effects and over reliant on gore and its terribly executed idea of parallel universes and butterfly effects. Really bad. And yeah, this movie is original, but there could be one diaper in a landfill, but it's still garbage. See more
Rey G Oct 23, 2018 It's mostly cool, except the end adds a whole new dimension and doesn't make sense.
Harry S Sep 29, 2018 I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I JUST FINISHED WATCHING IT A SECOND TIME, AND I definitely enjoyed it even more on the second watch through. It's not the mindless gorefest I was expecting going in, it felt more a satire of the genre of fanservicey horror movies, and in parts a surprisingly tender story about Mitsuko's life as a non-straight woman. It captures the atmosphere of a dream and succeeds in being beautiful and strange and frightening all at once. See more
Rey W Jul 26, 2018 I honestly couldn't tell you what this was about or why you should ever watch this.
Anakin S Jul 6, 2018 This has got to be the best acting I've seen in years, actually since the 1980's. Extremely captivating, the 2 lead actresses should have gotten awards for their work and this movie should have been more well known. The only way i heard about it was through a Facebook add showing the bus scene. There should also be a sequel, since the characters appeared to be clones. This was the best movie I have seen in years, actually my most favorite movie since I first saw "Aliens" in 1986. Aliens inspired me into sculpting and art and this movie inspired me to get back into running. Love this movie!! See more
Abraham G Jul 3, 2018 Awesome movie. I didn't understand what it was about til i watched it again and realized one of their classmates said they looked like they were in love, and Aki said they were, and motioned with her 2 fingers like they were a couple. Was that the same girl playing the older version of Aki or was that a different one? She seemed smaller. See more
