Geoffrey Macnab Independent (UK) Dec 11, 2015
2/5
This Scottish-made "swingers" film, based on a novel by Ewan Morrison, has some intriguing elements but is undermined by its shifts in tone and approach. Go to Full Review
Kevin Maher The Times (UK) Dec 10, 2015
2/5
Ewan Morrison's nuanced and thoughtful debut novel Swung is mostly de-fanged in this tentative, trepidatious, big-screen adaptation. Go to Full Review
Leslie Felperin Guardian Dec 10, 2015
3/5
This British drama takes an admirable risk in trying to make a serious film about the contemporary swinging scene without resorting to either juvenile sniggering or censoriousness. Go to Full Review
Matthew Anderson CineVue Apr 8, 2019
3/5
Although Swung is explicit in its nature and its content, it's neither smutty, depraved nor gratuitous and is anchored around an admirably acted and believable central pairing. Go to Full Review
Jennifer Heaton Alternative Lens Nov 2, 2018
4/10
The plot feels unfocused, with various threads unresolved and the moods of our main characters flit on a dime between scenes. Go to Full Review
Alistair Harkness Scotsman Dec 13, 2015

A dull and mostly dour affair, enlivened not one bit by groaning - pun fully intended - descents into kinkiness and smutty innuendo. Go to Full Review
