Han R Jun 5, 2018 This forgotten Brit offering from 1963 is actually pretty good. Spawned from the mind of Cornel Wilde (writer, director, and star) it outlines one of the most famous stories from the Round Table series. Although the romance section is ho-hum, the battle scenes are stupendous and well worth the price of admission in and of themselves. While not as flashy as Excalibur it does do the Middle Ages justice and is not afraid of some blood-and-guts action. See more
