Ron G May 12, 2018 DC the way it's meant to be.
Hagrid W Apr 1, 2018 More mindless than many of the other outings in the DCAU and lacking on effective writing, Superman: Doomsday still retains the good voice acting and inspired art style that we've come to expect from Warner Bros. Animation. See more

Anakin W Feb 4, 2018 The first entry into the new DC Animated Universe, Superman: Doomsday, is not as good as it could be. I will admit, the original story that this is based on is also very lacklustre, and clearly a cash-in. Like the comic, Superman is one-dimensional and boring and the Clone Superman, Lex Luthor, and Jimmy Olsen are all incredibly under-developed. The best character is definitely Lois Lane, who has a large number of 'YES!' moments. As usual in a Superman film, the action is the main focus, and the action (if a little long) is animated very well. The new character design is also pleasing to look at and allows for far more flexibility than the old Cinematic Universe. The story, as I said, is very convoluted, and riddled with plot holes. The choice to make this a 12 was a good one; Superman: Doomsday rarely holds back in its depiction of violence, which is important for a character like Doomsday. Overall, this film is underwhelming, pandering, and uninvolving, but at least it had a few exciting moments. See more
Draco P Apr 11, 2017 Abit of a letdown as Doomsday only appears in the first 20 minutes after a brilliant well done fight with Superman, After that it falls flat and Doomsday isn't seen again, A few plot twists help things out but it isn't enough to stop this from feeling a drag at times, It's not a bad animation but apart from the opening 20 minutes it had nothing going for it. Harry S Mar 14, 2017 It was an okay adaptation but the story it was based upon was never spectacular.
