Fired for their previous shenanigans, former Vermont Highway Patrol officers Thorny, Farva, Rabbit, Foster and Mac get a shot at redemption from Capt. O'Hagan and Gov. Jessan. Put me in the mind of the infinite monkey theorem. To paraphrase, an infinite number of frat boys hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type a script at least as funny as Super Troopers 2.

While definitely not as good as the first installment, Super Troopers 2 will satisfy your thirst for low brow gags, even if they're a tad dark for Broken Lizard.

Story seemed last minute, even though they have had 16 years to develop it. Relies on rehashing old jokes and cameos from the first movie. Worth a watch if you're feeling nostalgic for the first movie, but I wouldn't pay to see it.

After the original in 2002, Super Troopers 2 brings back the original cast and the fans that loved the original film. It took a crowdfunding campaign to do it but Super Troopers 2 became a reality. Though this is far from being highbrow comedy, it succeeds in being a hilariously funny movie. I watched it at the movies last year and I am still laughing. As I left the theater, I listened to a woman as she laughed so hard that she could not have made it through the film if she was high. I suspect that she might have been a significant part of the target demographic. If you did not enjoy the original, you may want to sit this one out. Otherwise, this is a movie that you really must see.

How far this team has fallen from their original greatness. What we have here is a group of guys who has made a few really hilarious movies trying to come together and make some money off of one of their better ideas... The problem is they try way too late and fail on several different levels. Though there are a couple of moments that are chuckle worthy you would do better to watch the original instead. D-
