The spectacle of King churning them out, churning them out, churning them out is, unfortunately, so much more vivid than anything he writes. Go to Full Review

There are all sorts of sly satiric touches in the film. Go to Full Review

This werewolf movie represents the writing of Stephen King better than most of others based on his books. Go to Full Review

Yes, folks, more bloodcurling gore from horror-meister Stephen King. Go to Full Review

Silver Bullet is a heartwarming story with a strong sense of place and flawed but lovable characters. The werewolf effects and gore are certainly adequate, but it’s the story and characters that make this one of the best werewolf films of all time. Go to Full Review

A lovely piece of horror that's far from being perfect, but has a real beating heart. Go to Full Review

Finn S Apr 13, 2019 Maybe mostly uneventful without any significantly noted aspects due to stock characterization, but remained thematic and horrifically mysterious that you would expect from Stephen King that wouldn't get lost in translation, especially when being a werewolf story without the obviousness makes it worthwhile. Luke W Apr 12, 2019 The way the music is played when the werewolf is stalking is the best part. Still gives me chills when I watch it.
Ron P Jan 19, 2019 Like a children's horror movie that still has some actual horror, Busey chews up Silver Bullet hard, because of course he does, but it was still pretty enjoyable. If you are feeling a retro sort a deal, I can recommend it, not strongly, but there's a mood you can be in where Silver Bullet is much appreciated. See more
Jul 26, 2018 Cheesy? Yes! Horrible Werewolf costume? Yes! Stephen King? YES!!!! This Is what 80's films were like, and it's something that while not aging to well, is still worth watching and getting a kick out of. The cast is great, and that makes up for some of the short comings of this film. See more
Ron R Jun 8, 2018 One of the most underrated werewolf movies. Busey gives one hell of a performance, so does the kid. Feels more like a long TV episode than a movie, probably because of the director. See more
Finn S Mar 4, 2018 Not only an all time great werewolf movie but one of the best Stephen king movies of all time.
