Nothing compares to the magic and excitement of the holidays in New York City, where the streets blaze with lights, windows dazzle and a special box from Tiffany could change the course of a person's life. Or several lives. Rachel and Gary (Zoey Deutch, Ray Nicholson) are happy enough but not quite ready for that big commitment. Ethan and Vanessa (Kendrick Smith Sampson, Shay Mitchell), the perfect picture, are just about to make it official. When a simple mix-up of gifts causes all of their paths to cross, it sets off a series of twists and unexpected discoveries that lead them where they're truly meant to be. Because love -- like life -- is full of surprises, in the holiday romance Something from Tiffany's.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

Tis the season for romantic misfortune, and there's still time to get Something from Tiffany's -- a little box of derivative fun that bolsters a low-carat hand of comedy and good chemistry.

It is pretty predictable, even if guessing what comes next in a movie isn’t your strong suit, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Something From Tiffany’s is a cozy, comforting holiday watch. Go to Full Review

Deutch and Mitchell are so likable that it’s easy to root for their characters — and to root for the actors too, to someday get cast in more enduring films. Go to Full Review

Overlong at a mere 87 minutes, there's nothing timeless or elegant about this flop entirely composed of elements derived from much better films. Go to Full Review

If you’re the type whose eyes start to glaze over at run-of-the-mill holiday fare, this film has an ace up its sleeve – Zoey Deutch. Go to Full Review

Like something from Tiffany’s, this comfort romance movie is wrapped in a glossy gift box that uses style to distract from its under-baked supporting characters. Go to Full Review

Cute, funny and endearing, it freshens up clichés while still delivering exactly what you want from a Christmas rom-com. Go to Full Review
