The storytelling gets repetitive, but there is enough here to make Smiley feel fresh and more or less satisfying as a low-key creeper.

Internet chat rooms provide the dubious hook for this generic slasher movie.

Feels like the poster was designed before the script was written and everything was reverse-engineered from that image. Annoying characters, bland deaths, and an unsatisfying payoff.

My personal hell would involve watching this movie on repeat. It is wretched, squandering a potentially iconic character with incompetent execution.

Smiley is a failed attempt at a horror film filled with Youtubers. While this film is terrible from a filmmaking standpoint its still worth watching just to laugh at it.

I can not even put into words how bland, shallow and fundamentally broken this movie is.The plot is generic and boring.I didn't expect anything amazing considering this is a Shane Dawson movie but this is a new low,

Undoubtedly one of the worst horror movies I've seen yet. The only thing decent about this movie are the murder scenes, and the only thing original is the killers method of murder, which is still cheesy and lame as fuck

A more modern take on a plot that's already been done. Nothing special, even a bit cringe-worthy at times.
