Abraham L Jun 23, 2018 This film has the framework, but lacks the structure to consider it horror-worthy. the director's lack of vision is revealed in the first five minutes of the movie; THE ART AND IMAGERY serves as a reminder that THERE ARE WORSE MOVIES OUT THERE, THAT ARE BETTER THAN what you're watching at the moment. I hate it when the horror director forces upon the saavy and seasoned horrorphile perspectives of the "unnecessary,' the person, place or thing that adds nothing to a script, - except celebrity status. Enter Maggie Q., a credible actor in her own right, who somehow manages to take a backseat to everyone in this film, including the janitor, related to the one person whose vision at first, appears limited by his dark, senior citizen shades, yet, validates the heroine's tortured past, confirms her suspicions about the family., and eventually reveals "his" solution to dealing with the "night hag." This movie would have had a better chance had the director filmed solely tHROUGH THE EYES OF THE FAMILY.. It's the one surefire, overused, formulaic cheat that when done well, may not save a movie, but it tells the story much better. The ending didn't come soon enough, but it did reinforce the feeling that "slumber" was a movie made with minimal funds and maximum misdirection. See more

May 31, 2018 I feel like I've been robbed of my time and money. I regret going to the movies to watch this.
