Finn M Oct 7, 2018 Silent Rage is one of those films that can't decide what genre it wants to be. This films is the ultimate example of a film that tries to be everything at once. With gory scenes straight out of a slasher horror film. Funny scenes straight out of a comedy with too much screen time devoted to a comic relief character. Scenes straight out of a buddy-cop film, because the main character is a cop and the comic relief character is his partner. Scene's straight out of a sci-fi film, because these scientists created a serum that while injected into a dead human, they will come back to life stronger than ever with the intent to kill (kinda like Re-Animator). Scenes straight out of an action thriller film, because of a lot of hand to hand combat and gun violence. explosions. Scenes straight out of a martial arts film, because Chick Norris is the lead role in this film and his fight scenes involve taekwondo. Scenes straight out of a romantic drama, because a romantic sub-plot takes up a good chunk of this film with an erotic sex scene to boot. Fans of Chuck Norris and B movies will probably love this film. See more
George S May 8, 2018 Stupifying. ONe thing, I guess Norris movies go to the lowest bidder because they run this movie over and over... and over and over on a channel here near Chicago. The movie that will never die! Anyway, what I note is that Chuck has the fighting skills of a black belt but the acting skills of a post in the middle of the lake. Yeah it's sort of like Halloween franchise but.... the people in those movies had better acting chops. See more
Abraham R Mar 12, 2018 A dude goes crazy and kills the family he's staying with. Local sheriff Chuck Norris shows up and takes him into custody. His doctor Ron Silver shows up ... he escapes ... and he's shot dead by the cops. Silver rushes him to the super secret army research hospital he works and, and he teams up with William Finley to try and save his life. They shoot him full of super secret army juice and he becomes indestructible. Chuck Norris taking on a crazy, indestructible guy should be amazing. It's good, but could have been so much better. Like a lot of Norris's films, there's a perplexing lack of fighting in this film. What's in the film is pretty damn good ... especially a long sequence where Norris beats up an entire motorcycle gang. The problem is that a good 2/3 of the film is devoted to Norris romancing his ex-girlfriend (who just happens to also work at the super secret army lab ... there's a convenient coincidence), and seriously ... nobody needs to spend any time at all watching any of that. Not a bad film, but you just want it to be really out there and it's just too in there compared to his later flicks. See more
Luke S Feb 2, 2018 CLASSIC FILM, with one of the most (or should be considered one of the most) iconic villains of all times!!!
Hermione R Jan 17, 2018 Pretty dumb for a Chuck Norris movie and that's saying a lot.
Luke R Nov 25, 2017 It would have been a classic movie if the science fiction aspect only highlighted. But suffice to say, all in all it's a classic entertainment movie ! See more
