Cut down to its essentials, that's just about all it is: in short. It can only be fully recommended to those who have a deep and morbid interest in crime. Go to Full Review

No one will confuse "Side Street" for a classic unsung noir, but people have rarely appeared smaller below the whims and winds of bad decisions. Not good, not bad, just human, and an intriguing perspective for Anthony Mann to go out on with film noir. Go to Full Review

Hagrid S Oct 10, 2018 The first half is a bit slow while the characters are all lined up. But the second half is worth the price, with empty city streets, shootouts and a tight car chase finale. See more
Poe R Oct 22, 2017 would like to see a remake done today, as this hasn't aged well, though this is a worthy plot
Poe S Jul 11, 2017 Not a bad one. The car race at the end was impressive for taking place in wall st.
