Critics Consensus

The aggressively wholesome Saving Shiloh has honorable intentions, but this simple story of a boy and his dog is overwhelmed by its heavy-handed approach.

An honorable, squeaky-clean children’s drama, this is notable for its relatively penetrating morality and for Scott Wilson’s fine performance.
