What starts as a clever approach to exploring cults and sacrifices devolves into a bunch of nonsensical, generic scares that never really culminated with anything satisfying.

It's a horror thriller with some interesting elements and a nice twist halfway through. But, it's where the film goes after the twist that makes it just another direct-to-video "B" horror flick.

It's amazing how long the filmmakers spent doing almost nothing at all.

Not much to say that the other reviews haven't. You could skip to the last 20 minutes of this movie and get all of the value possible out of it. Which isn't really any to begin with.
