What to Know

Critics Consensus

An unoriginal and only occasionally funny family road-trip movie, RV is a mediocre effort that not even the charisma of Robin Williams can save.

A disappointment for both Robin Williams and Men In Black director Barry Sonnenfeld, this vacation-from-hell plotline quickly grows tedious Go to Full Review

Williams' virtuoso hijinking and Daniels' Huggy Bearish bonhomie save this from complete ignominy, but we've seen it all before. Go to Full Review

Formulaic almost to a fault, and at times to its detriment, the end result is a sweet, enjoyable, light, fun film for the whole family. Go to Full Review

Relies far too heavily on running jokes that run on for far too long and very little on the effortless charm of its stars. Go to Full Review

Han S Apr 27, 2019 One of my favorites!
Hagrid L Feb 27, 2019 Laid back family movie. Mildly amusing but just enough to keep watching.
Anakin L Feb 24, 2019 Trying to be a modern version of Chevy Chase's Vacation but not as funny. Robin Williams did his best here but Jeff Daniels stole the show in every scene he appeared in. See more
Han P Jan 5, 2019 Robin Williams provides a fair few simple laughs. It's really not as bad as some reviewers say it is. Just keep your expectations flat and it's pretty good fun. See more
Rey P Nov 16, 2018 This film was unwatchable.
Hagrid P May 5, 2018 Entretenida, aunque un poco tontunada. Para ver con los mas pequeños
