Rugged American adventure-travel journalist Pete McKell joins a cruise along a crocodile-infested river organized by tomboyish guide Kate Ryan. As if dealing with their fellow travelers, including obnoxious wannabe photographer Simon and bratty British teen Sherry, wasn't enough aggravation, soon Pete and Kate must match wits against an enormous 25-foot croc that seems cleverer than most.

Megan Lehmann The Hollywood Reporter Oct 23, 2020
A shiny production that delivers formulaic jolts rather than stomach-turning gore and depravity. Go to Full Review
Nick Schager AV Club Oct 23, 2020
McLean's sophomore effort proves to be a taut and often terrifying creature feature, one that censures man's foolish belief that he can have dominion over nature while delivering shrewd, scary situational suspense. Go to Full Review
Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald Nov 17, 2007
When it comes to the value of keeping his creepiest attractions in reserve, McLean has learnt from Spielberg and Ridley Scott. Go to Full Review

Apr 20, 2019 I'm in the middle of a movie. I just wanted to point out Michael Vartan's chilling performance: the expressiveness of a scarecrow, the looseness of a totem, the gestural expressiveness of one of those huge heads in Easter Island .. engaging as a ninety-six year old who recites the rosary. George W Mar 23, 2019 An underrated film from the director of Wolf Creek. It's well-directed and the location is great. The film has some good tension, especially when people are in the water. However, the crocodile looks a little bit fake (it didn't bother me too much) and the music is kind of unnecessary sometimes. See more

Rey M Nov 4, 2018 THIS MOVIE IS TERRIBLE THE DOG DIED SMH
Hermione S Oct 9, 2018 A gory, scary, highly realistic B-Movie with stunning effects. Even the acting is performed to the best degree. The only issue I have is the dying of some characters that I liked. See more
Rey W Jul 26, 2018 This movie has a very unique style of representing its assets and does a very good job at building tension and atmosphere.......Worth watching if you ask me !!! See more
