Draco M Jun 3, 2017 Dan O'Bannon's 'lost' film. Based on HP Lovecraft's 'Charles Dexter Ward'. O'Bannon's version of this film was overhauled by the studio while he was dealing with a devastating illness. The results were mixed, and the film went straight to home video. The optical effex are laughable, the same way Hellraiser's are. But the practical effects are an A+, with some of the scariest creatures I've seen in any film! Also called 'Shatterbrain'. RIP Dan. Just fyi, Scream Factory is releasing The Resurrected on Region A blu-ray on Sept. 12, 2017. There is a German region B blu-ray release already available. See more
