It's a funny, nasty, brutal, tense and invigorating film. Go to Full Review
Ella Taylor L.A. Weekly Jan 12, 2024
A fond genre move that's forever chortling up its sleeve at the puerile idiocy of the genre, a heist caper without a heist, an action movie that's hopelessly in love with talk and a poem to the sexiness of storytelling. Go to Full Review
Joe Pollack St. Louis Post-Dispatch Oct 14, 2022
The story is as phony as the names the robbers take - Mr. White, Mr. Blue, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Pink and Mr. Brown - and it's also a hymn to violence, blood and sadism that reaches repulsive levels. Go to Full Review

"Quentin Tarantino’s feature debut Reservoir Dogs is an astounding single-location thriller that makes the most of its all-star cast and refined script." Go to Full Review

The film's biggest single problem is that the director learned so much from making it that he went on to keep making things that were better. Go to Full Review

Poe M Apr 28, 2019 A definitive moment in Quentin Tarantino's film making career.
Apr 23, 2019 Very monologue heavy, but with the constant question of whether Mr. Orange is alive or dead, it keeps me from being bored. The plot on the other hand is a bit weak. In conclusion, a very suspenseful movie with great dialogue and cool scenes, though the plot could have been better. See more
Apr 8, 2019 Neither excellent nor bad.
Poe G Apr 2, 2019 No review needed really. A classic, a cult, a masterpiece. The first feature film of Quentin Tarantino, and still one of his best. Maybe even THE best, although I grew up with bread and Pulp Fiction. If you did not watch it yet, buy some pop corns and put it on! See more
Albus S Mar 24, 2019 Needs to be watched.
Draco W Mar 8, 2019 I didn't know what was really going on in this movie, it was vague and jumped from person to person which made it strangely interesting and entertaining. See more
