An unscrupulous corporate lawyer, Henry Turner (Harrison Ford) will do whatever it takes to win a case, and treats his family with the same degree of ruthlessness. After Henry gets caught in the middle of a robbery and is shot in the head, he wakes from a coma to find that he has amnesia and can't even remember how to do the simplest of tasks. As he recovers and relearns how to function, Henry reveals a much kinder and more thoughtful personality, much to the surprise of his family and friends.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

Although Harrison Ford makes the most of an opportunity to dig into a serious role, Regarding Henry is undermined by cheap sentiment and clichés.

One can make excuses for a 23-year-old writer's misunderstanding of human behavior, but how could Mike Nichols look at himself in the mirror when he directed such dumbfounding scenes. Go to Full Review

This is a film of obvious and shallow contrivance, which aims without apology for easy emotional payoffs, and tries to manipulate the audience with plot twists that belong in a sitcom. Go to Full Review

Feb 2, 2019 The best inspiring movie ever made!
Sep 12, 2018 Not usually one for dramas, but this is a good under the radar flick
Abraham R Jun 22, 2018 One of if not the most underrated movie starring Harrison Ford.
Leia G Mar 21, 2018 It's ridiculously cheesey and extremely shallow but I won't lie that in the most surfaced level, it tugs my heart strings. J.J. Abrams pens a script that is about what you would expect from a 20 year old writer with not much experience. See more
Oct 4, 2017 I liked the movie but the second time watching I noticed why I didn't love it. Ford kind of sucked, it just isn't a role for him. His facial expressions and him pretending not to be able to do things was acting 101 and he failed. His an action film personality...Star Wars, Fugitive, Indiana Jones. Drama and basically anything else is not his forte. I actually thought Annette Benning saved the film and even the daughter was better. Now that I think of it John Leguizamo was even better for his minute crackhead role. See more
Han G Sep 11, 2017 Great movie. The way it depicts how the relationship with his child moves from a conventional, authoritarian one to a loving, consensual one is inspiring. See more
