"Quad Gods" -- a feature-length documentary directed by Jess Jacklin and produced by Johnny Fego (with executive producers Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady) -- follows the lives of three New Yorkers with quadriplegia who meet in a neuro-rehabilitation lab at Mount Sinai Hospital and create the world's first all-quadriplegic Esports team. Blake, Prentice and Richard must navigate NYC, provide for their families, and confront ableism as they pursue their shared dream to compete as athletes. It is a story of friendship, survival, and grit that subverts our assumption about disability.

While the documentary is slower and takes a longer time to get going than expected, we do eventually come to care about these men and find inspiration in their lives and achievements. Go to Full Review
