What to Know

Critics Consensus

A lightweight, unambitious comedy, Post Grad features fine actors that can do little with its middling, uninspiring script.

There's certainly a lot of material there but none of the comedy works in any way at all and Keaton is a dead zone at the centre of the film. Go to Full Review

Vicky Jenson's attempt at a go-getting romcom is a tragic underachiever on the com front: the rent-a-quirk characters feel like a Little Miss Sunshine tribute act gone wrong. Go to Full Review

Rey L Jul 15, 2018 The narrative bookends are the only (decent) parts that focused on the squandered premise that instead swerved into an average conventionality after the petty painting of postgraduate reality - alongside with pointless plot points. It managed to be funny sporadically by occasion throughout the average, pointless bulk by charm from some of the cast, even if it's not enough to tip the questioned worth to its watchable favor. Luke S Apr 12, 2018 I'm not sure what is worse, the script or the direction. I cannot believe this is from the same writer as Edge of Seventeen. It's just a bunch of random vignettes, the story has no arc and the characters are one dimensional. Stakes...what are the stakes? There are none. See more
Albus P Jan 20, 2018 Definitely a guilty pleasure, mostly because I can kind of just see it as Rory Gilmore after college!
Draco S Apr 7, 2011 It was an awful movie with lots of goofy stuff I hate but I knew it would be, so all good. I only watched it for my love for Alexis Bledel obviously for her being a Gilmore Girl. It was a 90 minutes pass time anyways. See more
