Anakin R Mar 22, 2019 I had heard of Planet Hulk storyline but not read the books, so when I saw an animated movie on it decided to give it a go. The idea itself is amazing but the story felt average, maybe it is unfair but having seen Thor: Ragnarok I had to compare. I know Ragnarok borrows the concept from this storyline but their storytelling is so much better with all the humour, in comparison this felt too serious and Hulk didnâ(TM)t seem all that of a powerhouse as I had imagined him. The animation also is mediocre, does the job but nothing to look forward to. On the other hand, the voice overs are good. I enjoyed the ending, kind of unexpected, made me give it a higher rating then it actually deserves. See more
Finn G Sep 6, 2017 One of the better if not the best Marvel animated film around, Based on the comic of the same name that was based on the film Gladiator, It had a great story that was well told and the action was hard hitting and there was allot of it too, The animation was ok but nothing great, If you have read the comic then this film might disappoint you as they replaced The Silver Surfer with Beta Ray bill which was a surprise and not sure why they would do that and the ending in the comic wasn't a happy ending but they went for one here, I can understand why they did if they had no interest in making a World War Hulk film, So while the ending might not go down well with Hardcore Hulk comic fans they toned it down probably for the kids and we all know that's what Marvel does best which is a shame, But apart from that it's pretty loyal to it's comic and is very entertaining. Rey S May 6, 2017 Entertaining & action-packed, Planet Hulk underlines Hulk's qualities & smashing abilities.
Rey S Mar 14, 2017 I don't understand the hate, it is a solid adaptation of Planet Hulk even if they miss some major plot points.
Finn S Apr 13, 2015 Dumb marvel animated movie.
Albus R May 16, 2013 It may be just a simple knock off of the "John Carter of Mars" novels, but it works as a solid and entertaining Hulk story.
