Stoner Dale Denton's (Seth Rogen) enjoyment of a rare strain of marijuana may prove fatal when he drops his roach in a panic after witnessing a murder. Well, the idea is original, but it actually doesn't get fun until literally an hour through. It's a solid stoner film and the presence of crime is in there but the true laughs and action is toward the end, like it just said. The acting is really good and the protagonists have great chemistry but it still doesn't excuse the fact that most of the movie was boring. Now, when the good stuff happens, it gets really entertaining. The comedy is top-notch and the action is bullets, explosions, and mindlessness. I was hoping for more of that but I didn't, I can't complain, though, because I had no idea what this movie was about, my mom recorded it. Alright, it's not bad but I honestly couldn't recommend it for a "must watch", only if you're bored.

Good movie, I give it 5 bags of popcorn. Rogen and Franco have good chemistry. The only bad part is that it was made 10 years ago, and it probably won't have a sequel - although there is a distant glimpse of what could have been in "This is the End". With that being said, I will remove one of the bags of popcorn and throw in a soda, but it is only a quarter of the way filled up and it has been sitting out in the heat for quite a while.
